Hey there! I usually don't like to talk about myself too much, because I feel that I'm just plain and boring...but since this is the section that I HAVE to put a few words about me - here I go:
First and foremost, at this time - I'm only looking for friends!!! Someone near or far, just people to communicate with and build lasting friendships in the outside world!
I feel like I've lost touch with people and have very rusty social skills!
My son has been my main focus for almost 14 years now, and will continue to always come first...but now I realize between working and being a mom - I don't make time for anything else. I think it's about time that I at least start to make friends because sooner than I realize, my son will be going to college...and I'll be COMPLETELY ALONE! I don't want that to happen! I really am a good person, but my desire to spend time at home and with my son has made me (in my mind) a boring, home-body!
So, I guess I'm here just to connect with people again. I'm smart, read alot, have opinions on just about anything, and know how to hold a conversation...so I'm just looking for someone that just wants someone they can talk to! I'm actually a shy person (at first), so it's very difficult to just leave the house and find friends...this way seems much easier because you can look at a person's profile to see if you have ANYTHING in common first!
